One such example of happy buyers is a growing family who recently completed their purchase of a property in the exclusive Canons Drive Estate in Edgware. Having worked closely with Preston Bennett over the course of a year to find their dream home, the Lee family eventually found a house that met their specific needs. 

From start to finish, Preston Bennett assisted both buyer and seller - the company helped the previous owner of the Canons Drive property to sell his home and then subsequently advised and assisted his purchase of a contemporary flat in Mill Hill through Preston Bennett’s dedicated New Homes department. 

Having been located in Canary Wharf for nearly a decade, the Lee family made the decision to move out of the City in order to be closer to leading schools. “With a four year old who was due to start school, we wanted to ensure that she got the best education possible. With this in mind, we researched various offerings and concluded that North London Collegiate School in Edgware would be our first choice,” comments Mrs Lee. “We decided to register with Preston Bennett as it is the leading agency in the area and the outcome was extremely positive.”

The Lee’s worked collectively with Preston Bennett Director, Lee Martin, to find their ideal home. After initially viewing properties in Glanleam Road and Valencia Road in Stanmore, they decided to expand their search to Canons Drive. “Lee was really great to work with as he listened to what we wanted,” comments Mrs Lee. “Even though the entire process took over a year, we felt that he took a detailed interest in our circumstances and that he had a true understanding of what we were looking for. Even when the sale had been agreed, he and his team went above and beyond by assisting us with survey reports and recommending local services to help with the move.”

After their prolonged search, the Lee family are now happily ensconced in their delightful 5 bedroom detached corner property which features spacious accommodation and beautifully manicured gardens. 

“We are currently waiting for our renovation plans to be approved by Harrow Council before we embark on various aesthetic changes to the house,” says Mrs Lee. “While we miss the experience of central London and the buzz that comes with living there, we are extremely happy in our new home and are embracing the easy access to beautiful outdoor space, surrounding tree-lined roads, and the proximity to our daughter’s school.
