The Vitality London British 10km run took place yesterday, Sunday 12 July. Staged on a spectacular route through the heart of central London, runners passed many of the capitals historic landmarks.
Starting on Piccadilly outside The Guards and Calvary Club, participants ran passed the new WW2 bomber command memorial which was unveiled by the Queen in June 2012, and numerous iconic landmarks including Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Parliament Square, and Downing Street, before finishing at Royal Horse Guards and Banqueting House.
A team from Preston Bennett successfully completed the course in aide of Cancer Research UK. They included Mark Johnson, Richard Henley, Paul Jenkins and Patrick Aitken.
